In much of your talking, thinking is half murdered. For thought is a bird of space, that in a cage of words may indeed unfold its wings but cannot fly.

Hello and thank you for your interest in my profile. Here is a little bit about me:

I started clinical work at the age of 23 while I was still studying for my Masters degree. In parallel, I also worked in institutions and schools and daycares, mainly focusing on early intervention and detection and rehabilitation.

I started in Lebanon, renting three different offices in three different cities until I left to the UAE in 2011. There I expanded my clinical knowledge working with professionals from different therapeutic schools and backgrounds, in special abilities clinic and mental health clinics. I was given the opportunity both in Lebanon and in the UAE to establish departments and lead clinical services. Working with families and professionals from numerous cultural backgrounds taught me to expand my therapeutic understanding of the human mind, its development and its interaction with the social environment. In Canada, I have collaborated with different non for profit organizations and I have worked with the Francophone school board, while maintaining my clinical work. I started in Downtown Vancouver and Kitsilano and now I am in Marpole.

I strive to stimulate a positive self-image and a well-being in individuals in balanced social relationships and I offer therapy in French, Arabic and English. I have a solid experience in neuro-development (typical and divergent), and I help people understand their functioning and be kind to their story while celebrating their daily successes.

I have worked with babies, toddlers, children, adolescents and adults in one to one and group settings, most of them presenting with Psychomotor challenges, sensory and emotional dysregulation, neurodivergance, depression, chronic anxiety, personal identity struggles and trauma.

With over 17 years of clinical work, I have a diverse approach to therapy, including cognitive, behavioral, systemic, dynamic, sensory and motor techniques, offering emotional support and mindfulness for individuals.

My purpose is to advocate for a better mental health status and to support individuals in their journey of self understanding and self love.

I was born and raised in Byblos, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and a UNESCO world heritage site and I currently live in Vancouver, Canada.

I am also an environment and a human rights advocate.

When not at work, I will be hiking, foraging, paddling, camping, writing, creating recipes and making art with different mediums or simply resting.

A story of thoughts is my own story. A girl with ideas on life and existence, took a pen and started writing.
